COMMUNITY NOTES

New to the Rabbinical School staff: Rabbi Carol Glass, Dean of Students, was most recently a mentor for Reform rabbinical students at Hebrew Union College in Jerusalem. She received rabbinic ordination at Hebrew Union College in New York and has an MJEd from the Jewish Theological Seminary (JTS). Dr. Jonah Steinberg, Assistant Professor of Rabbinics and Director of Talmudic Studies, formerly directed the Rabbinic Literature and Civilization program at the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College and holds a PhD from Columbia. Beit Midrash instructor Ebn Leader received his MA from Brandeis. Or Rose, Beit Midrash instructor, is a PhD candidate at Brandeis and the author of Abraham Joshua Heschel: A Biography for Young Readers (JPS, 2003).

Jodi Werner joined the Department of Marketing and Communications in August as Director of Publications. Formerly Assistant Director of Publications at JTS, she holds a BA from the Schreyer Honors College at Penn State and an MFA from Emerson College.
