Cuddling in their parents' laps or sitting cross-legged, transfixed, preschoolers filled Berenson Hall on Sunday, November 14, when the assembly hall was transformed into a children's theater. At center stage was puppeteer Sarah Lamsteinthe mother of Josh Lamstein

Three Tales of Shabbat.

The puppet show was the first event planned by Margie Ross Decter
P'85, owner of Enzyme, Inc., a healthcare marketing consultancy, and chair of the Young Leadership Committee of the Hebrew College and Prozdor Alumni Association. Her goal: to get more young alumni involved on campus.
Margie's deep roots in Hebrew College were seeded at Prozdor and Camp Yavneh, where she met her husband, Adam
P'85, a strategy and economic consultant. They extend to Adam's father, David
Me'ah'98, a member of the Yavneh board, and Margie and Adam's brothers, Richard Ross
P'87, and Jonathan Decter
P'88.
Margie realized that a child-friendly event would be key to helping young alumni reconnect: "Many people I talked to were excited about seeing old Prozdor friends and the new campus, but they were also very busy with their families and careers." She raised the puppet show idea at an alumni planning meeting, led by Chair of the Alumni Capital Campaign Council Robert Feingold, and the resulting event was a hit: 100 people attended.
"It was exciting to see all the small childrenthe faces of future Prozdor students and alumni," says Alumni Relations Coordinator Sharlene Finkel. "We look forward to additional events like these in the future."
At the puppet show, Michal Blech invited all alumni and their children to explore the Gann Library's children's corner, which was made possible by the generous contribution of Aaron Albert
P'85.
With one successful event behind her, Margie is focusing on growing the Young Leadership Committee. If you are interested in reconnecting with other young alumni or helping plan family events, please contact Margie at
