Hebrew College
offers two graduate degrees, a Master of Arts in Jewish Studies
and Master of Jewish Education. Either degree may be combined
with one of a variety of certificates or tailored to encompass
an area of specialization. Several doctoral programs are under
development.
Within Jewish Studies, the College offers certificates in
Jewish Liturgical Music, Jewish Music Education, and in a joint program
with Simmons Graduate School of Social Work, a Simmons MSW/Hebrew
College Certificate in Jewish Communal and Clinical Social
Work.
The Shoolman Graduate School of Jewish Education offers Certificates
in Jewish Day School Education, Jewish Family Education, Early
Childhood Jewish Education, Jewish Special Education, and
Jewish Informal Education, Youth Leadership and Camping. Any
of these areas may be studied as a specialization within the
Master of Jewish Education.
Part-time study may be arranged. Many classes are offered
during the evening to accommodate work schedules. Intensive,
weeklong courses that cover a semester's study are offered
during January Intersession and Summer Institutes.
